Montessori Schools offer your child an education based on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child's natural development. This includes having an environment with mixed ages, between 2.5 to 6 years, having long uninterrupted work times, up to 3 hours in one sitting, and the use of a discovery model, where students learn the concepts on their own, rather than being taught by instruction. To support this learning environment, students are given free range of the classroom, where they can decide what activities they would like to participate in, choosing from the given options; all this learning is guided by a trained Montessori teacher in the classroom.
